Apple Music launches in five more markets: what worldwide delivery means for artists

Apple Music expanded to Albania, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Pakistan, and São Tomé and Príncipe. Releases cleared worldwide can reach those markets automatically.

The five new Apple Music territories

Label Engine reports that music already cleared for worldwide availability can become available in the new territories without an additional delivery action.

  • Albania
  • Brunei
  • Burkina Faso
  • Pakistan
  • São Tomé and Príncipe

Why territory settings deserve attention

When artists select worldwide distribution, later store expansion can increase availability without rebuilding the release. That is useful, but worldwide should only be selected when you actually control the rights everywhere you are delivering.

If a license, sample agreement or other right is limited to certain countries, territory settings need to match the rights you hold.
