How review and delivery work

What this guide covers
Understand what happens after you submit a release to NORTH.
NORTH tracks the release lifecycle separately from each store. A release can be approved in NORTH while individual destinations are still processing, live, delayed, or requiring attention.
Before you start
- Open the exact release you want to inspect.
- Check both the overall release status and the Delivery tab.
- Keep the requested release date in mind when evaluating timing.
- Do not assume every store updates at the same time.
Step by step
- 01
NORTH runs automated checks when you submit the release.
- 02
A reviewer checks the release for metadata, artwork, rights, and delivery readiness.
- 03
If something needs attention, the release is returned with a revision reason.
- 04
When NORTH approves the release, complete any split confirmation required in the release details.
- 05
NORTH sends the approved release to the selected stores and displays delivery progress as store confirmations arrive. After the action, return to Delivery and confirm the visible status changed as expected.
Check your work
- The expected stores are selected.
- The release has cleared NORTH review.
- Store-specific statuses are progressing normally.
- Any revision or error message has been addressed on the existing release.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating one delayed store as a release-wide failure.
- Submitting a duplicate because one destination is slow.
- Assuming Approved means every store is already live.
- Expecting takedowns and updates to complete simultaneously across stores.
What happens next
Keep checking the Delivery tab until the destinations you care about confirm their state. Contact support when a store remains unresolved beyond normal processing and no self-service action is available.
If the result on screen does not match what this guide describes, stop before creating duplicate catalog records or repeating a financial action. Use the visible status and error information when contacting NORTH support.
